TOTECTORS “WORST WORK BOOTS” COMPETITION – TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Promoter
This promotion is run by Totectors UK Ltd (“Promoter”), Instagram handle @totectors_uk

2. Eligibility

• Open to residents of the United Kingdom and Ireland only
• Entrants must be 18 years or older
• Employees of the Promoter, its affiliates, agencies, or anyone professionally connected with the competition are not eligible to enter

3. Competition Period

• Each monthly competition opens on the first of each month and closes on the last day of each month at 23:59 GMT, commencing  May 1^st  June 1st and July 1^st , and ending May 31st, June 30th and July 31st respectively.
• Entries received outside this period will not be considered

4. How to Enter
To enter, participants must:

1. Follow @totectors_uk
2. Follow @maddenbuilders and @thevalleyviking_
3. Post a video on Instagram showing your worst or most worn-out work/safety boots
4. Tag @totectors_uk and @maddenbuilders and @thevalleyviking_in the post
5. Include the hashtag #KeepYourLook

• Entries must be submitted via a public Instagram account
• No purchase is necessary

5. Entry Requirements

• Entries must be original content created by the entrant
• Content must not:
• Be offensive, defamatory, or inappropriate
• Promote unsafe behaviour
• Infringe on any third-party rights
• The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply

6. Winner Selection

• This is a skill-based competition, not a random draw
• Winners will be selected by a panel appointed by the Promoter
• Judging criteria:
• Creativity (40%)
• Humour (30%)
• Authenticity/plausibility (30%)
• The Promoter’s decision is final

7. Prize
Each month, one (1) winner will receive:

• One (1) pair of Totectors® Rushden safety shoes
• 1 additional pair for the winner’s crewmate
• No cash alternative is available
• The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary

8. Winner Notification

• Winners will be contacted via Instagram Direct Message within 7 days of the closing date
• If a winner does not respond within 5 days, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner

9. Publicity & Content Usage
By entering, entrants:

• Grant the Promoter a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, and share their submitted content for marketing and promotional purposes (including social media, website, and paid advertising)
• Agree that their Instagram handle and content may be featured publicly

10. Data Protection

• Personal data will only be used for the administration of this competition
• All data will be handled in accordance with applicable UK GDPR and data protection laws
